Fun Christmas Markets near The Beaufort

Across London the countdown to Christmas has begun. With a chill in the air, nights drawing in, mince pies and decorations already in the shops, it’s not long before the shop windows are decorated and the Christmas lights are switched on. Traditional Christmas Markets return to the capital with food, drink and unique gifts on offer and The Beaufort is ideally located with many within an hour’s walk of the hotel.

Duke of York Square starts things off on 7th November with their Christmas lights switch on at 4pm. It’s free to enter but booking tickets in advance is recommended for the attractions. The 1.5 mile walk from The Beaufort should only take 9 minutes.

The Curtain Up Christmas Market is hosted by actors from a variety of TV shows including soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street. The Curtain Up Christmas Market will be opened at 11:30am by Julian Clary on 6th December and closes at 4pm. There’s a £1.50 entrance fee with proceeds going to the charity Backup.
